Sammy, our ginger tom cat smiling and posing!
Freya, my brother in law’s whippet. Officially the most elegant dog I’ve ever known…
I feel I’m cheating by only drawing things I fancy drawing, but I’ve got the January blues and want to draw escapist things: exotic locations and golden masks of ancient Pharaohs! Hence Tutankhamun’s mask today. I’m not sure it does the real thing justice, but I had fun trying! I’d love to see it in real life one day!
Update: A version of this drawing is now available as a spectacular gold on black t-shirt on tigerprints.co.uk – it looks amazing, check it out!
This just needed saying. Everything that can be said about the attacks in Paris has been said already over and over again, but I just wanted to add my voice to that. Je suis Charlie.
Bit of a quick sketch today. I’ve been in a spring-cleaning and IKEA frenzy after taking all the xmas decorations down. So here’s my builder with his tools. That’s a huge spirit level sticking out of his back pocket, and yes I know it looks like he’s wearing eyeliner. Nothing wrong with that. You mean builders round your way don’t wear guyliner? 😉
OK, trees are more tricky than I thought so this picture took way longer than I planned! Everything else I drew ended up looking like a 5-year-old had drawn it with a felt-tip pen! Anyone got any tips on drawing trees..?
Urghhh. I hate wasps! I tried to get all the spite and malevolence and evil of wasps into this sketch, but I’m not sure it worked! What do you think?
