Draw Me a Camping Trip

“Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam…”

Actually tenting is my idea of hell, but I have to say I’ve managed to make it look quite appealing in this picture! This is my idealised dream of camping without mosquitoes, rowdy campsite neighbours, thunderstorms or insects of any kind.  I did a day and night time version and I like them both.

It’s glamping (there’s a king-sized bed and a coffee machine inside that tent) on a clear night, in perfect temperature (not too hot, not too cold – you can sit by the fire in jeans and T-shirt) and there’s nobody else to hear you let rip in case you’re in a Blazing Saddles kind of mood. Bliss.

If camping really was like this I’d seriously consider it!
